Global Marketing & Strategic Vision: An Introduction to Rachel Kay
I’m originally from San Francisco, an environment that shaped how I think about brands, growth, and scale — where ideas move quickly, and the distance between concept and global impact is often remarkably short.
I studied marketing and organizational strategy at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School, where I developed a foundation in strategic thinking, communication, and structured problem-solving. Alongside my studies, I worked in roles that emphasized leadership, storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration, reinforcing my interest in how strategy is communicated and executed across teams.
Professionally, I’ve worked in global marketing environments across both emerging and established brands, including Ole Henriksen (LVMH) in San Francisco and Drunk Elephant (Shiseido) in New York. These experiences exposed me to different ends of the growth spectrum, from agile, high-growth brands to heritage global houses, and deepened my interest in how digital marketing, systems, and decision-making scale across markets.
I’m currently based in Madrid, completing a Master’s in Digital Marketing.
I created Kay Curated to articulate my perspective on strategic transversatility — how digital marketing principles, systems, and decision-making translate across industries, growth stages, and organizational models.
